This page is dedicated to providing different coding scenarios as general examples to assist in classifying/scoring incidents. It is not meant to be all inclusive. Coding is based on individual case circumstances. All coding scenarios provided have been reviewed and approved by an FBI NIBRS Training Instructor. ASUCRP members can submit coding scenarios to the ASUCRP Web Master for possible inclusion. Please email scenarios to: brenda.manning@state.sd.us.

All South Dakota's Coding Scenarios have been reviewed by Gregory S. Swanson, FBI NIBRS Coordinator/Training Instructor 304-625-2998. The first table contains coding scenario handouts made from the Power Point presentation used during NIBRS Training and the second table contains the monthly coding scenario.
